Similarity Between Yazidi and Hindu

Yazidis are in news for a grave situation in northern Iraq. They are being literally exterminated by the Islamic State Jihadis. Only 7,00,000 or so Yazidis remain on the planet today and most of them are in the northern provinces of Iraq near Kurdistan. 1000s have died already this year and their mass killing via siege, starvation and other means is gut wrenching.

The world is watching without doing much to save this extremely rare race. #SaveYazidis cry on the social media is not having much effect as 10s of 1000s of them are on the verge of extinction or capture into slavery by the extreme radicals of ISIS. The situation of women and children starving to death has created an uproar across the world, but not much help is coming forward.

While researching into who these Yazidi people are, I stumbled upon some unmistakable similarity with Hindus of India. Two hours back, I didn't know much, but after putting these side by side, I am almost getting convinced that these Yazidis are a lost tribe linked to ancient Hindus of India. The overlapping features are clearly not some coincidences that you will find among pre-Abrahamic religions of the world.

 Yazidis temples have pyramid shaped gopura just like Hindu temples.

Yazidis symbol is a wing spread peacock, just like Hindu god Shiva's son, Subrahmanya's mount. The most important point to note is that peacock, the national bird of India, is a native of south and south east Asia or Africa. Not found in the area of Iraq or Syria at all.

Yazidi temple at Lalish has snake symbol at the entrance. You won't find this among other tribes of Arabia or Mesopotamia. For Hindus, Subrahmanya is the other avatara of snakes and worshiped very closely for all snake related pujas like Naga Panchami.

Number 21 is sacred to Hindus (Ganesha). Offerings are in 21 count like Modaka (sweet).

Yazidi marry within their castes like Murids, Sheikhs and Pirs.
Hindus marry within castes.  Yazidis could have something like Gotra system (researching).


Any Hindu with even basic understanding of aarti plate, will see Yazidis as their own.

Yazidis believe in continuous rebirth and reincarnation.
Same as Hindu Punar Janma concept.

Yazidis do not circumcise, a very rare thing in the middle east.
Hindus do not circumcise.

Yazidis pray with folded hands. Hindus pray very similarly to their Gods and Goddesses.
Yazidis pray at sun rise and sun set, just like Hindus. Both face the rising or setting sun when praying to sun.

Yazidis have a symbol similar to Bindi or Tilak during temple prayer, very similar to Hindu forehead custom.

For big celebrations, lighting lamp by females common to both Yazidis and Hindus.

Yazidis men worship Melek Taus by lighting fire in temples.
Hindus' do similar fire based worship to their Gods, with high regard for agni the fire.

As I read and browse, there are more similarities popping up. The trident (Shiva's trishula), the vessels used during worship (kalasha), the sound (something like dhol and shankha), sun worship methods and much more..

I am convinced that they ARE deeply connected to ancient Hindu civilization. Whether through Zoroastrian connection in Persia (today's Iran) or directly via migration, has to be researched. If you find credible sources, please share them in the comments.

And most importantly, please put pressure on the Indian, Iraqi, US, EU and other governments to save them. They have just a few days between life and death, at the current barbarism level of ISIS. Let this very rare and ancient tribe of our earth survive.

Shiva Lingam - The Universal Almighty And a Universal Truth

कुछ अज्ञानी लोगो ने शिवलिंग को जननांग समझ कर पता नही क्या क्या गलत अवधारनाये फैला दे है सत्य को समझे

शिवलिंग (shiva lingam) :
वातावरण सहित घूमती धरती या सारे अनन्त ब्रह्माण्ड (ब्रह्माण्ड गतिमान है) का अक्स/धुरी (axis) ही लिंग है।
The whole universe rotates through a shaft called shiva lingam.
हम जानते है की सभी भाषाओँ में एक ही शब्द के कई अर्थ निकलते है
जैसे: सूत्र के - डोरी/धागा,गणितीय सूत्र, कोई भाष्य, लेखन को भी सूत्र कहा जाता है जैसे नासदीय सूत्र, ब्रह्म सूत्र आदि |
अर्थ :- सम्पति, मतलब (मीनिंग),
उसी प्रकार यहाँ लिंग शब्द से अभिप्राय चिह्न, निशानी, गुण, व्यवहार या प्रतीक है।

लिंग संस्कृत का शब्द है जिसके निम्न अर्थ है :

त आकाशे न विधन्ते -वै०। अ ० २ । आ ० १ । सू ० ५
रूप ,रस ,गंध और स्पर्श :- ये लक्षण आकाश में नही है । किन्तु शब्द ही आकाश का गुण है ।

निष्क्रमणम् प्रवेशनमित्याकशस्य लिंगम् -वै०। अ ० २ । आ ० १ । सू ० २ ०
जिसमे प्रवेश करना व् निकलना होता है वह आकाश का लिंग है । अर्थात ये आकाश के गुण है ।

अपरस्मिन्नपरं युगपच्चिरं क्षिप्रमिति काललिङ्गानि । -वै०। अ ० २ । आ ० २ । सू ० ६
जिसमे अपर, पर, (युगपत) एक वर , (चिरम) विलम्ब , क्षिप्रम शीघ्र इत्यादि प्रयोग होते है , इसको काल कहते है , अर्थात ये काल के लिंग है ।

इत इदमिति यतस्यद्दिश्यं लिंगम । -वै०। अ ० २ । आ ० २ । सू ० १ ०
जिसमे पूर्व, पश्चिम, उत्तर, दक्षिण , ऊपर व् निचे का व्यवहार होता है उसी को दिशा कहते है अर्थात ये सभी दिशा के लिंग है ।

इच्छाद्वेषप्रयत्नसुखदुःखज्ञानान्यात्मनो लिंगमिति -न्याय० अ ० १ । आ ० १ । सू ० १ ०
जिसमे (इच्छा) राग , (द्वेष) वैर, (प्रयत्न) पुरुषार्थ , सुख, दुःख, (ज्ञान) जानना आदि गुण हो , वः जीवात्मा है ये सभी जीवात्मा के लिंग अर्थात कर्म व् गुण है ।

शून्य, आकाश, अनन्त, ब्रह्माण्ड और निराकार परमपुरुष का प्रतीक होने से इसे लिंग कहा गया है। स्कन्दपुराण में कहा है कि आकाश स्वयं लिंग है। धरती उसका पीठ या आधार है और सब अनन्त शून्य से पैदा हो उसी में लय होने के कारण इसे लिंग कहा है तथा कई अन्य नामो से भी संबोधित किया गया है जैसे : प्रकाश स्तंभ/लिंग, अग्नि स्तंभ/लिंग, उर्जा स्तंभ/लिंग, ब्रह्माण्डीय स्तंभ/लिंग (cosmic pillar/lingam)
ब्रह्माण्ड में दो ही चीजे है : ऊर्जा और प्रदार्थ | हमारा शरीर प्रदार्थ से निर्मित है और आत्मा ऊर्जा है|
इसी प्रकार शिव पदार्थ और शक्ति ऊर्जा का प्रतीक बन कर शिवलिंग कहलाते है |
ब्रह्मांड में उपस्थित समस्त ठोस तथा उर्जा शिवलिंग में निहित है. वास्तव में शिवलिंग हमारे ब्रह्मांड की आकृति है. (The universe is a sign of Shiva Lingam.)
शिवलिंग भगवान शिव और देवी शक्ति (पार्वती) का आदि-आनादी एकल रूप है तथा पुरुष और प्रकृति की समानता का प्रतिक भी अर्थात इस संसार में न केवल पुरुष का और न केवल प्रकृति (स्त्री) का वर्चस्व है अर्थात दोनों सामान है |
अब जरा आईसटीन का सूत्र देखिये जिस के आधार पर परमाणु बम बनाया गया, परमाणु के अन्दर छिपी अनंत ऊर्जा की एक झलक दिखाई जो कितनी विध्वंसक थी सब जानते है |

इसके अनुसार पदार्थ को पूर्णतयः ऊर्जा में बदला जा सकता है अर्थात दो नही एक ही है पर वो दो हो कर स्रष्टि
का निर्माण करता है . हमारे ऋषियो ने ये रहस्य हजारो साल पहले ही ख़ोज लिया था.

हमारे संतों/ऋषियों ने जो हमें वेदों और उपनिषदों का ज्ञान लिखित रूप में प्रदान किया है उन्होंने कभी यह दावा नहीं किया कि यह उनका काम है. वे हर काम के अंत में स्वीकार किया कि वे हमें बता रहे हैं जो उन्हें अपने पूर्वजों द्वारा कहा गया है. यह सार्वभौमिक ज्ञान लगभग १३.७ खरब वर्ष पुराना हमें तमिल और संस्कृत जैसी महान भाषाओँ में उपलब्ध होता है . यह किसी अन्य भाषा में पूर्णतया (exact) अनुवाद नही किया जा सकता । कम से कम अंग्रेजी जैसी कमजोर भाषा में तो बिलकुल नही । जैसे एक छोटा सा उदहारण देता हूँ : आज गूगल ट्रांसलेटर http://translate.google.com/ में लगभग सभी भाषाओँ का समावेश है किन्तु संस्कृत का नही । क्योकि संस्कृत का व्याकरण विशाल तथा दुर्लभ है ।
आप कहेंगे की संस्कृत इतनी इम्पोर्टेन्ट नही इसलिए नही होगी , यदि इम्पोर्टेन्ट नही तो नासा संस्कृत क्यों अपनाना चाहती है । और अपने नवयुवकों को संस्कृत सिखने पर जोर क्यू दे रही है ?

श्री वार्ताक जी (वेद विज्ञान मंडल,पूणे) ने अपने लेख Shiva Lingam – A Symbol of Science में लिखा है की जब कालांतर में ज्ञान के स्तर में गिरावट आई तब पाश्चात्य वैज्ञानिको ने वेदों / उपनिषदों तथा पुराणो आदि को समझने में मुर्खता की क्योकि उनकी बुद्धिमत्ता वेदों में निहित प्रकाश से साक्षात्कार करने योग्य नही थी ।

ऐसा उदहारण हम हमारे दैनिक जीवन में भी देखते है जैसे परीक्षा के दिनों में अध्ययन करते समय जब कोई
टॉपिक हमें समझ न आये तो हम कह दिया करते है की ये टॉपिक तो बेकार है !!
जब की असल में वह टॉपिक बेकार नही अपितु उस टॉपिक में निहित ज्ञान का प्रकाश हमारी बुद्धिमत्ता से अधिक है ।

इसे इस तरह भी समझ सकते है की 12 वोल्ट धारण कर सकने वाले विधुत बल्ब में अगर घरों में आने वाले वोल्ट (240) प्रवाहित कर दिया जाये तो उस बल्ब की क्या दुर्गति होगी ? उसका फिलामेंट तत्क्षण अविलम्ब उड़ जायेगा ।

यही उन बेचारे वैज्ञानिकों के साथ हुआ । मैक्स मुलर जैसो ने तो वेदों को काल्पनिक कहा ।

हम अपने देनिक जीवन में भी देख सकते है की जब भी किसी स्थान पर अकस्मात् उर्जा का उत्सर्जन होता है तो उर्जा का फैलाव अपने मूल स्थान के चारों ओर एक वृताकार पथ में तथा उपर व निचे की ओर अग्रसर होता है अर्थात दशोदिशाओं (आठों दिशों की प्रत्येक डिग्री (360 डिग्री)+ऊपर व निचे ) होता है, फलस्वरूप एक क्षणिक शिवलिंग आकृति की प्राप्ति होती है जैसे बम विस्फोट से प्राप्त उर्जा का प्रतिरूप , शांत जल में कंकर फेंकने पर प्राप्त तरंग (उर्जा) का प्रतिरूप आदि ।

स्रष्टि के आरम्भ में महाविस्फोट के पश्चात् उर्जा का प्रवाह वृत्ताकार पथ में तथा ऊपर व निचे की ओर हुआ फलस्वरूप एक महाशिवलिंग का प्राकट्य हुआ जैसा की आप उपरोक्त चित्र में देख सकते है | जिसका वर्णन हमें लिंगपुराण, शिवमहापुराण, स्कन्द पुराण आदि में मिलता है की आरम्भ में निर्मित शिवलिंग इतना विशाल (अनंत) तथा की देवता आदि मिल कर भी उस लिंग के आदि और अंत का छोर या शास्वत अंत न पा सके ।
पुराणो में कहा गया है की प्रत्येक महायुग के पश्चात समस्त संसार इसी शिवलिंग में समाहित (लय) होता है तथा इसी से पुनः सृजन होता है ।

[उसी आदि शक्ति के आदि स्वरुप (शिवलिंग ) से इस समस्त संसार की उत्पति हुई तथा उसका यह गोलाकार/सर्पिलाकार स्वरुप प्रत्यक्ष अथवा प्ररोक्ष तथा प्राकृतिक अथवा कृत्रिम रूप से हमारे चारों और स्थित है | निम्न फोटो को देखें :

ॐ ब्रह्मांड की अनाहत ध्वनि है। इसे अनहद भी कहते हैं। संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड में यह अनवरत जारी है।
इस प्रणवाक्षर (प्रणव+अक्षर) भी कहते है प्रणव का अर्थ होता है तेज गूंजने वाला अर्थात जिसने शुन्य में तेज गूंज कर ब्रह्माण्ड की रचना की |
वैसे तो इसका महात्म्य वेदों, उपनिषदों, पुराणों तथा योग दर्शन में मिलता है परन्तु खासकर माण्डुक्य उपनिषद में इसी प्रणव शब्द का बारीकी से समझाया गया है |
माण्डुक्य उपनिषद के अनुसार यह ओ३म् शब्द तीन अक्षरों से मिलकर बना है- अ, उ, म. प्रत्येक अक्षर ईश्वर के अलग अलग नामों को अपने में समेटे हुए है. जैसे “अ” से व्यापक, सर्वदेशीय, और उपासना करने योग्य है. “उ” से बुद्धिमान, सूक्ष्म, सब अच्छाइयों का मूल, और नियम करने वाला है. “म” से अनंत, अमर, ज्ञानवान, और पालन करने वाला है. तथा यह ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और महेश का प्रतिक भी है |
आसान भाषा में कहा जाये तो निराकार इश्वर को एक शब्द में व्यक्त किया जाये तो वह शब्द ॐ ही है |

तपस्वी और योगी जब ध्यान की गहरी अवस्था में उतरने लगते है तो यह नाद (ध्वनी) हमारे भीतर तथापि बाहर कम्पित होती स्पष्ट प्रतीत होने लगती है | साधारण मनुष्य उस ध्वनि को सुन नहीं सकता, लेकिन जो भी ओम का उच्चारण करता रहता है उसके आसपास सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का विकास होने लगता है। फिर भी उस ध्वनि को सुनने के लिए तो पूर्णत: मौन और ध्यान में होना जरूरी है |

हाल ही में हुए प्रयोगों के निष्कर्षों के आधार पर सूर्य से आने वाली रश्मियों में अ उ म की ध्वनी होती है इसकी पुष्टि भी हो चुकी है ।

how Christianity Destroying Tamil culture and society- Its Hammering on Sanatan Dharma.

As Christianity expanded leaving in its trail genocides,pillage and the destruction of indigenous pagan traditions it couldn’t always break the spirit of the common people it persecuted who still prayed to the old gods and celebrated them in most cases secretly. So the church had another method of destroying the ancient traditions by Christianizing the traditional pagan festivals and legends.For example Easter and Christmas are really old pagan festivals but now Christianized . This was the art of inculturation which still continues and Hinduism being its biggest target.

When India came under the British Empire the native Indians had to be colonized and made subservient to that empire.So the colonial education programme was started and at the forefront of this were educationists who were also christian missionaries who applied the art of inculturation.To keep up with European colonial race theories Indians were divided under the fictional (north) Aryan and (south) Dravidian races.Unfortunately many of these educationists instead of being exposed for what they really were are celebrated for their love of Hindu Culture.There’s probably more proof to that proving the world is flat and if you sail to end of the ocean you fall of the planet.The following is an exposure by writer Thamizhchelvan showing how Tamil language and society came under the manipulation of the art of inculturation…

Misinformation campaigners project missionaries such as G.U. Pope, Constantine Joseph Beschi, Robert Caldwell, Barthalomaus Ziegenbalg, Francis Whyte Ellis and Dr. Samuel Green et al as great champions of Tamil and magnificent contributors to its development, including the introduction of “prose” writing. Of these, Francis Whyte Ellis or ‘Ellis Durai’ in Tamil, was a Madras-based civil servant in the British government and Samuel Green a doctor in Sri Lanka; both supported missionaries in evangelical causes.

All the above mentioned missionaries landed in Tamil Nadu with one “holy” aim of converting Tamil Hindus and christianising Tamil Nadu. Ironically, the writer Dr. K. Meenakshisundaram termed the era of these evangelists as the “Golden Period” of Tamil in his book, The Contribution of European scholars to Tamil, originally presented as the author’s thesis at the University of Madras, 1966. So it is all the more imperative for us to demolish this myth of Christian contribution to the development of Tamil and bring out the truth.

What Actually our Caste or Varna System was And what Evil It has Become Now ?

Earlier caste or Varna in Sanskrit were decided on the basis of a profession or karma (actions or duties) one followed. And no caste was superior or inferior from one another.
Some people just for their selfish motives and greed started this upper and lower caste/varna concept.

Since the children in earlier times learnt at home, this resulted in that the children had the same professions as their parents. Therefore, a trend of expectation started that the children of a person or family of particular cast/varna/profession/karma would have same caste/varna/profession/karma. Since under such education system almost all the relatives too had the same profession therefore communities having same professions evolved. 

This is what actually the concept of caste or Varna was.
But now a day since one is free to choose her or his profession due to the change in education system, therefore today a family in India can have members from different castes or varnas.

Hence to differentiate and treat one on the basis of the varna of their ancestors is ambiguous. What profession one follows, what kind lives she/he lives and morals she/he follows at present defines one's varna. Not just her/his profession.

And repeating again what I said earlier, no varna even today is superior or inferior from one another. All are equal before God. Our Gods have always defied the untouchability introduced by us humans in the varna system and that can be viewed here.

And since we humans created those stupid practices which hurt the sentiments and self respect of other fellow human beings, therefore we should only stop following them and shun those who still want to follow them. Just because our ancestors started them does not mean they should be carried on. Anyone can make a mistake. We are after all humans only and humans only commit mistakes, and what use are those traditions and practices which make us unhappy?

But I do not bolster that you start defying each and every tradition that has been prevalent from past till today. There are some traditions which do have sense and some scientific reasoning too (oh yes there are). Therefore we should shun only those traditions that hurt the self respect of others or physically hurt others.
